Here is a new twist on traditional cinnamon-flavored apple crisps. I think you’ll like the different taste, and you’ll feel better serving these to your kids over greasy potato chips or sugary fruit snacks!
It’s so much easier to flavor these with essential oils rather than having fresh lemons and ginger on hand. Essential oils are completely natural, as they are made from plants, and they contain no artificial flavoring or chemicals.
Ingredients:
1 lb. apples, sliced into 1/8”-thick rounds
8 drops lemon essential oil
4 drops ginger essential oil
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 200 degrees F. Place apple slices in a large bowl and add drops of oils. Toss to coat. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lay apple slices flat on baking sheet. Bake in oven for 2 hours or until pieces are dry and crispy.
