To get back to Champaign, Joliet Catholic Academy's football team will go back to the drawing board against a familar foe.

JCA (8-4) takes on Lombard Montini (10-2) at 1 p.m. Saturday in a Class 5A semifinal game at Memorial Stadium in Joliet.

When the two last met, Montini came out the winner, 70-45, in a shootout for the 5A state title last November. JCA's Ty Isaac rushed for 515 yards and scored six touchdowns—but it was all for naught.

Isaac's status for Saturday's rematch is uncertain. He aggravated a groin injury in JCA's 21-20 overtime victory over Lincoln-Way West. Montini advanced with a 42-27 victory over Woodstock Marian Central.

The winner moves on to play in the Class 5A state championship game at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 24, in Champaign.
