Take a Tour of Romeoville's New Library

Local branch of the White Oak Library District reopened Monday

“It’s beautiful.” “We love it.” “We are going to come here every week.”

Those are just of the few comments overhead Monday morning during the reopening of the ’s Romeoville branch, following a $6.3 million renovation project that doubled the building’s usable interior space.

Now, the entire 46,000-square-foot building features rooms flooded with natural light, accented by colorful décor – and filled to the brim with plenty of imagination-stimulating books, computers and audio-visual materials.
