Although his face has appeared in newspapers, on television and on the ChicagoBanditTracker.com website, the man who robbed a Romeoville bank remains at large.
The suspect walked into PNC Bank’s Weber Road branch around 2:18 p.m. Feb. 2 and handed a teller a note indicating he had a gun, police said. The note also made a demand for money. No weapon was displayed in the robbery, and the bandit made off with an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing on foot.
Special Agent Ross Rice of the FBI’s Chicago office said a $10,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the identification and arrest of a suspect.
Several tips have been received by the FBI and Romeoville police, Rice said, but declined to discuss specifics, saying the investigation is ongoing.
Photos captured by the bank’s surveillance photos show a white male suspect, believed to be between the ages of 20 and 25 and between 5’7” and 5’8.” The man was wearing a black puffy coat at the time of the robbery.
Information on the Feb. 2 robbery is featured on the Bandit Tracker site, which is run by the FBI and Chicago-area law enforcement agencies.
To report a tip, contact the Romeoville Police Department’s investigations unit at 815-886-7219 or the FBI’s Chicago office at 312-421-6700.

Wow....how old is he ???? Twelve??!!?? One thing for sure that kids "got a pair" no mask.No glasses.Banks need to be more old school. Back in the day all banks had an armed guard inside making a presence. Cameras are only good if it's a circumstance where a person absolutely cannot be there at that time. Even then I'd personally go with a 100lb German Shepard but that's just me. Anyway I hope they catch this kid before he tries it again and the next time the outcome might not be so good. Also wait until his mom and dad find out. No X-Box for a week!
