Property Crimes: Vandalized Cars, Defaced Houses

The Romeoville Police Department took the following property crime reports:
Two purses, a GPS and gym shoes valued at a total of $365 were reported stolen at about 8 a.m. Sept. 23 from a vehicle parked in the 300 block of Dartmoor Avenue.
The rear window of a vehicle parked in a residential driveway in the 200 block of Oak Creek was reported broken out at about 5:30 p.m. Sept. 23. Damage estimated at $300.
A construction company in the 600 block of Dalhart reported at about 1 p.m. Sept. 24 that someone had thrown a rock and stepped in freshly poured concrete. Damage estimated at $2,500.
A Motorola heart monitor and a pair of tennis shoes valued at $395 were reported stolen at about 2:45 p.m. Sept. 25 by an employee of a business in the 1200 block of Lakeview Drive.
A suspected burglar attempted to pry open the trunk lid of a vehicle parked in the 1800 block of Gleneagle Drive. Report filed at about 12:30 a.m. Sept. 26; damage estimated at $500.
Three tires were reported slashed on a vehicle parked in front of a residence in the 700 block of Farragut at about 6:15 p.m. Sept. 26. Damage estimated at $300.
An iPhone and phone case valued at $215 were reported taken at about 6:35 p.m. Sept. 27 from a locker room bench of a business in the 1200 block of Lakeview Drive.
A house 1900 block of Somerset Court was reported as defaced with spray paint at about 11:10 a.m. Sept. 29. Removal cost estimated at $150.
A vehicle parked in the 200 block of Sierra Trail had its windshield broken by a rock. Report field at 7:35 p.m. Oct. 1; damage estimated at $400.
A vacant house in the 0 to 100 block of Arlington was reported as defaced with spray paint at about 9:20 a.m. Oct. 1. Removal cost estimated at $100.
An empty trailer valued at more than $5,000 was reported stolen at about 2:30 p.m. Oct. 2 from a trucking company in the 1100 block of Remington.
