Police Blotter: Warrants, Drugs and Battery

Arrests made by the Romeoville Police Department and other law enforcement agencies.

 

    Bennie L. Williams, 55, addresses listed as 510 S. Joliet, Joliet, and homeless, arrested by the Romeoville Police Department and booked into the Will County jail on Jan. 16 on a warrant for failure to appear.

    Ernesto Hernandez, 35, 1939 W. Helen, Romeoville, arrested by the Will County Sheriff's Office and booked into the Will County jail on Jan. 17 on four warrants for failure to appear.

    Ayrius Jordan Duncan, 23, 86 Sonoma, Romeoville, arrested by the Joliet Police Department and booked into the Will County jail on Jan. 18 on two warrants for failure to appear.

    James S. Klaveter, 43, 622 Jordan, Romeoville, arrested by the Romeoville Police Department and booked into the Will County jail on Jan. 20 on a charge of domestic battery.

    Joseph Michael Rodriguez, 17, 1585 Arborwood, Romeoville, arrested by the Romeoville Police Department and booked into the Will County jail on Jan. 20 on charges of charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of 10 to 30 grams of cannabis.

    Why do you list the name of a 17 year old? I think this will only contribute to a problem for this kid in school!

    I am so surprised to see a kids name in newpaper. What is the editorial staff (if there indeed is one) thinking??? Why would any so called newspaper list a kids name? I find this totally wrong! I am not a fan of your tongue in cheek listing of the police arrests as "your friends and neighbors"!!! Personally I think this is WAY out of line!

    As far as the courts are concerned, this offender is no longer a child. As of the age of 17 you are an adult in the courts eyes.
