Drug, alcohol charges
Stanley P. Sheputis, 50, 1028 Essington, Romeoville, was arrested by the Plainfield Police Department and booked into the Will County jail on charges of possession of a controlled substance, driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of cannabis, improper turn at intersection and disobeying a traffic control device or officer, according to county records.

Traffic arrest
Tien V. Dang, 32, 750 Shannon Drive, Romeoville, was arrested by Romeoville Police and charged with driving on a revoked or suspended license, speeding and driving an uninsured vehicle, police said.

No license
Juan Franco, 40, 207 Clinton St., Joliet, was arrested by Romeoville Police at 135th Street and Belmont Drive and charged with driving without a license and equipment violation, police said.
Traffic charges
- Jose Mendoza, 36, 417 Benton St., Joliet, was arrested by Romeoville Police at Weber and Taylor roads and charged with following too close and driving without a license, according to police reports.
- Maria Peralta, 28, 628 Belmont, Romeoville, was arrested by Romeoville Police at Naperville and Sixpines drives and charged with driving without a license and disobeying a traffic device, police said.
- Christopher Hubbard, 18, 20943 Budler Drive, Plainfield, was arrested by Romeoville Police at Normantown and Weber roads and charged with driving without a license, equipment violation, driving without insurance and disobeying a traffic device, according to reports.
Suspended license
- Ammiel Sneed, 21, 329 Thistle, Bolingbrook, was arrested by Romeoville Police at Lakeview Drive and Weber Road and charged with driving on a suspended license, no insurance and disobeying a traffic device, police said.
- Jesus Hernandez-Santos, 49, 105 Cypress, Bolingbrook, was arrested by Romeoville Police at Taylor Road and Paragon and charged with driving without a license and speeding, according to reports.
Retail theft
A 16-year-old juvenile was arrested by Romeoville Police in the 400 block of Weber Road and charged with retail theft, police said.
April 10Traffic arrests
- Jose Renteria, 39, 2082 Whitmore Drive, Romeoville, was arrested by Romeoville Police at Airport and Weber roads and charged with driving without a license and following too closely.
- Nicholas Pehlka, 35, 1839 Root St., Crest Hill, was arrested by Romeoville Police at Airport and Normantown roads and charged with driving without a license, speeding and driving an uninsured vehicle, police said.
Resisting arrest
Michelle Cherven, 53, 2355 White Birch Lane, Joliet, was arrested by Romeoville Police in the 0-100 block of Weber Road and charged with resisting a peace officer, according to police.
DUI charge
Timothy Newell, 32, 1425 Levato, Minooka, was arrested by Romeoville Police at Weber Road and Grand Boulevard and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving without insurance, driving too fast for conditions and improper lane use, police said.
