Early on they made statements. Wife #1 said he was a jerk, but a good dad and whatever. Wife #2 said he physically threatened her and she was scared of him. Something like that.

He beat her and his son and after she left him he would do traffic stops on her and write tickets for foolish things.

They are both alive and well... #2 made claims he was physically abusive to her and her son (not Drew's kid, she had him already when she married Drew.). That's all I remember hearing about them... He managed to divorce them both without murdering them... lol. Bet they both feel lucky now!

Yes! Hurray! He was convicted, I knew he was guilty! Now they need to try him for Stacy's murder, even though her body has never been found. As far as wife#1 and 2, I remember reading several articles where they were both interviewed and they both said he had been both physically and mentally abusive to each of them. They were the lucky ones, at least they are still alive!

Thank goodness the Jury saw through all the BS from the defense team and found him Guilty. If you want the whole story and info about Drew's other wives. Melissa read Joe Hosey's Book "Fatal Vows".

No matter what the public thinks about Drew, guilty or not, this trial was unconstitutional and will be repealed in the appelate courts. The State failed bigtime and the Judge let it happen. This was NOT a fair trial. Guilt or innocense is not in question right now. It's our justice system. When you can be sent to jail for the rest of your life only based on what gossip or unproveable statements go around (gossip), then the justice system is not even necessary. We can just go back to hanging people without a fair trial.

I have to say Ballseck you are apparently living in Dreamland & wearing pink sunglasses. Not sure where your point of view comes from however the SA did exactly what there job is to find the correct justice and they did that. They didn't fail at all The Man created a real mess full of lies and deceipt ruined peoples lives and murdered someone who he supposedly loved ( the other one is in the sewer somewhere ) Our justice system works and works well . Gossip and unprovoked statements i don't think so! Try death , dissappearence "Expired innocent lives" the guy was a sick selfish pig of a human species that deserves to meet his fate.

The court of public opinion has spoken. Most people believe Drew Peterson to be guilty. I happen to agree with that. The IL Supreme Court has ruled the hearsay evidence that convicted him admissible. However, it is possible that the U.S. Supreme Court might hear his appeal because of that evidence. Hopefully by then, he'll be on trial for Stacy.

REALLY???? Do you know why this case took 3 years? Most of the hearsay evidence has already been to the state supreme court. So how is an appelate court going to overturn a higher court?

While you are allowed the right to your opinion. You are WRONG! This case was heard by the Supreme court and it was cleared before ever moving to trial. You have been drinking the Drew Peterson defense Team kool-aid. Mark my words. Drew will sit in prison for the rest of his natural life. This case was tried fair & square. You're being fed by liars and greed. The case was a clean case 100% and will not ever be reversed on appeal by any court! The only chance Drew will ever be free are by the following, death, Gov. will over turn his sentence, or president Obama personally releases him..but never, ever, on an appeal. especially not for any constitutional violations. This is absolutely incorrect information you are feeding others who don't know the law.

I wonder if his 2 dead wives had a fair trial? Mr. Peterson got a little 2 cocky and used his knowledge of the law to try and get away with the most perfect crime. Thank God he won;t be killing wife number 3! And Justice for ALL!

Now he can share a cell with OJ and save tax payers money. Why should we have to pay to keep him alive? Should re- instate death penalty. A Eye for a Eye and a Death for committing a Death.

I have never voted for Glasgow in the past but I will this year. He has put up with a lot to get justice for Kathleen Savio and in part Stacy Peterson. His interview tonight showed just how strong he is and just what Drew is. As for poor Drew it has always been illegal to kill someone to keep them from testifying against you. Wonder what Stebic is doing tonight???

When Drew's lawyers were making statements after the verdict, there were a lot of people cheering outside for the conviction. They said "how can Drew get a fair trial with people like this"? How does the cheering of groups outside of the courthouse factor in not giving Drew a fair trial? It only counted what the 12 jurors thought and the defense attroneys helped pick them out and were confident. Cheering people simply do not have a say in the jury's findings. That statement was as ridiculous as the actions of the defense attorneys playing comics throughout the trial. Maybe they were the cause of the guilty verdict. They all need to be repremanded for their conduct of making this trial a three ring circus everytime they stepped up to the podium.

Every single one of them are being brought before The Illinois Bar Association. And Steve Greenberg threatened pastor Schori on Twitter the other evening during Dateline's live broadcast. I agree 100% with what you said. This trial was fair and just 100%. The defense team is going to suffer for their ridiculous antics

Hip-Hip-Hurray! This nasty crooked cop will now stay behind bars for the rest of his pathetic life. Poor Kathleen. She can finally rest in peace. Now for Stacy. We must get justice for Stacy. Everyone knows that this coward killed both women. My heart goes out to both of their families and especially his innocent children who will be forever deprived of their Mothers' love.

The judge did not make errors. Appeals will be a waste of money. Please read about the hearsay law before you comment. This trial was real, not a TV show.

Thank You Barbara! The "hearsay" law has been a law in the United States for over 130 years. I find it very interesting that Drew Petersen wanted his ex-wife's body cremated after her death. Her family did the right thing. They knew that someday another autopsy would be needed to prove that her death was in fact a murder. Being divorced from Kathleen gave him no legal rights in her burial what-so-ever. His mistake provided prosecuters with the valuable clues to what had really happened to this poor woman. And to think that victims have no voice once their lives are snuffed out! That's why our great country has the "hearsay" law. It provides protection for those who no longer have a voice. May this cocky murderer rot in jail for the rest of his unhappy, pathetic life.

On the face of it, here's a guy who was married four times: one drowned in a dry tub, one dissapeared. The other two have been noticeably absent from the media glare(out of fear of retribution or death?). If I told you I knew someone like this-the average person's reaction would more than likely say "something's not right there". At some point be it karma or fate or whatever-something had to give (ie he was convicted). We do have to give Ballseck's opinion some respect. He was convicted on hearsay, not fact. Basically-what someone said about him. Remember, it could very well be one of us some day convicted on something some said about one of us. An ex spuose? A co worker who doesnt like you? Again, I'm just focusing on the mechanics of the trial and it does set a disturbing precident. I think where the real light needs to be shown is on the Will County officials who ruled this an "accidental death". You dont have to be a fan of Quincy or CSI to know that someone looked the other way on this. Code of Silence? Cronyism? How many other deaths were ruled "accidental"?

Yeah remember this when you vote for coroner in November. Also, the State Police should be investigated. Who signed off on this investigation???? If this would have been handled right in the first place Stacy would be alive and these kids would have been spared a lot of pain.

I thought this trial might end the way the Casey Anthony case did. She murdered her sweet, innocent daughter. Everyone knows she did it and she is free as a bird, while her daughter had to rot alone in a garbage bag after she killed her. That Florida jury should be ashamed of letting her go free just because of legal technicalities that don't seem to consider "common sense" and "motive" as part of the process.

I applaud the jury that convicted Drew. I'm glad the jury waded through the legal wrangling and made the right decision. Kathleen and Stacy deserve no less than this man who took their lives being put away for the rest of his life. He has shown no remorse, but he should try and redeem himself by revealing where he put Stacy so the family can at least give her a decent burial.

Over the years there has been more than a few cops that think they can get away with murder and the sad thing is when they have help from other cops some have done so. Right now in New Mexico there is a similar case where the police man now suspected in murdering his wife when she refused to go along with his insurance scam to collect on a vehicle he destroyed
She also had been a police woman. He shot her and claimed it had been a suicide however she had been shot with his gun not hers. I wont go into the whole case but after 2 years he has finally been arrested and is awaiting trial.
On this case I also agree with the majority on her that Drew killed both wives and my sympathy goes out to the family's of both women,Even more so the children from all these marriages and sad to say but someday his son Thomas will come to the same conclusion as we all have
