We start the New Year out with an SOS call from an animal control that took in 29 guinea pigs from a hoarder case. Took a ride bright and early NEW YEAR'S DAY to bring them in. This is after we took in 10 poor piggies right after Christmas. If you are at all able to help, we are in need of donations of food, hay and pellets with this addition coming in and have a standing account at KM's Hayloft. Just contact Linda at linda@kmshayloft.com to help. The piggies will be grateful for anything that you can do.

Hi Jake: I'm sorry for that oversight. Hopefully others will see this reply and take up your lead. The rescue's name is Critter Corral Guinea Pig Rescue. While we are located in Steger, Illinois, we have foster homes and volunteers throughout the Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana areas. We are the only rescue licensed by the State of Illinois devoted solely to guinea pigs. Donations can be made a number of ways. If someone would like to donate hay or pellets, we have an account set up at KM's Hayloft - just contact Linda at linda@kmshayloft.com. If someone would like to donate via Paypay, where donations are used for medical care, fresh veggies, etc. - that can be done via zoo357@sbcglobal.net. If someone is in the Chicagoland/Northwest Indiana area and would like to adopt - please contact adoption@crittercorral.org. To see a listing and photos of avalable piggies just check us out on Petfinder: http://www.petfinder.com/shelters/crittercorral.html. If someone can't help in any of these ways, please share this announcement to help spread the word. The piggies will be truly greatful for whatever you can do! And if I can answer any more questions, just let me know.
