The Irene King Elementary School Town Hall meeting, scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 5, at the Village of Romeoville Municipal Center, has been postponed due to the snowstorm. A new date has yet to be determined.
The event, slated to feature special guests Romeoville Mayor John Noak and State Rep. Emily McAsey, was intended as a two-way conversation focusing on a central theme: Everyone has a stake in the education of our children.
King Principal April Vacik and Assistant Principal Jeremy Majeski are also slated to take an up-close look at the school’s educational progress as well as future plans. McAsey and Noak will also speak and be available for questions.
Check back for updates on the new date and time for the event.
